Logo Plate Crossmember

This crossmember is definitely a necessity. I ended up removing mine from the top and placing it all the way at the bottom. It helped square up the bottom of my rack a lot better. It also feels more solid with no wobble when I use the dipping-bar attachment.

I bought this extra crossmember because I have limited rack space and wanted to attempt to put it close to wall at the back. I thought I could get away with putting the extra crossmember near the bottom for extra stability, but I was wrong because there is nowhere I could place it to make it not interfere with my bench. I bought the stabilizing crossmember with offset that is actually made for this purpose instead and pulled the rack out the extra 9" to make it clear. This one moved to the front of the rack, so now I have two logo crossmembers at the top and the pull-up bar is in the center instead of at the front. This is completely unnecessary, but it was easier to do than attempting to ship back for a refund. My 24" rack can now take a nuclear strike and survive.

I used the compact logo crossmember on the middle set of uprights of my six-post PR 5000. I used the standard logo crossmember to attach to the weight storage uprights, not only providing even more stability to my rack but also giving it a unique look that everyone praises when they see it. I'm just waiting now for the REP Smith Machine attachment to arrive next month!
